Hands On Asheville-Buncombe is the volunteer center of United Way. It is NOT a requirement that organizations receive United Way funding in order to partner with Hands On Asheville- Buncombe.

We develop partnerships with community-based organizations that need volunteer support to address a variety of needs in the community. We connect individuals, families and other groups to volunteer opportunities at more than 150 nonprofits, schools and public entities.  Additionally, we engage volunteers in service activities each month that benefit several partner agencies.
