RiverLink is a regional non-profit spearheading the economic and environmental revitalization of the French Broad River and its tributaries as a destination for everyone to live, learn, work, & play.
Our staff is only 8 people, but we are extremely passionate! We work hard with the community and volunteers to ensure that the river is a beautiful and fun place for everyone to spend time.
RiverLink accomplishes its mission by providing permanent public access to the river through conservation and recreation easements, reclaiming contaminated lands for public use and enjoyment, greenway development, creating public no-fee, overnight camping sites along the river, adaptive reuse of historic structures, educating 5,000 students K-12 annually as well as the public-at-large about the French Broad River watersheds’ importance and empowering over 1,700 volunteers each year.
At any of our volunteer service days you can expect to clean trash from the rivers and roadsides, remove invasive plants, plant new rain gardens and more. Above all that though we want all of our volunteers to have fun and leave our service days feeling fulfilled.
Join us and become a voice of the river!
