Hands On Asheville-Buncombe, the volunteer center of United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County, uses reasonable commercial efforts to avoid disclosure of information which is confidential, privileged or nonpublic other than in accordance with this privacy policy.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County gathers personally identifiable data when voluntarily submitted by a user, which may include: name, addresses, zip codes, e-mail addresses, donor choice information, etc. For example, personally identifiable information may be collected in order to record a stated desire to donate online to United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County via a direct gift or through a company sponsored campaign. This information is used solely by United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County or other parties to the transaction for the purpose of executing the transaction, to improve your experience with us, and for the internal business purposes of United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County.

We are the sole owners of the information collected. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
