Support Student Success from Behind the Scenes.

Help a student overcome barriers to success by proving accurate note taking. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy being in the classroom and have an affinity for working with individuals with disabilities.  


  • Identify and record all relevant points made by the instructor, writing with sufficient detail so notes have meaning without additional explanation.
  • Organize the note content in a logical sequence.

Times:  Various on students need. Volunteers are most needed during the academic year from mid-August through mid-May.

Locations: Opportunity are available on our main campus, A-B Tech South and Madison site.


All A-B Tech volunteers must complete a volunteer application, background check and attend a short one-hour new volunteer orientation.
