Who We Are
The Black Mountain Center for the Arts is a vibrant community arts hub in downtown Black Mountain's heart. Since 2000, we’ve offered classes, performances, exhibitions, and events that bring people together through creativity. Our mission is to bring the arts to the people and people to the arts through inclusive, accessible programming that reflects the spirit of the Swannanoa Valley.
What We Do
The Black Mountain Center for the Arts offers classes, performances, exhibitions, and events that connect people through creativity. We champion accessibility and community engagement while equitably compensating local and teaching artists. From visual arts and dance to theater, music, and more, we bring the arts to life in the heart of Black Mountain.
