Who We Are

ABCCM Special Events is a division of Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry (ABCCM), a nonprofit organization working in Buncombe County to address poverty, hunger, homelessness, and health care access. ABCCM is a family of Christian congregations in the Asheville-Buncombe County area organized to respond to emergency assistance needs in the community. The goal of the Special Events division is to raise funds and volunteers for ABCCM’s core ministries in an enjoyable way. 

What We Do

ABCCM Special Events hosts seven core annual events:

  • Safe and Warm Heating Assistance and Blanket Drive
  • Mountain Classic Golf Tournament
  • 4th of July Veterans Celebration at the Asheville Tourists game
  • Transformation Celebration Auction and Gala
  • Patriots and Legends Veterans Day Weekend Celebration and Car Show
  • Return to Bethlehem Live Nativity
  • Christmas Angel
