Four Seasons is an independent, non-profit community organization providing support to patients with serious illness and their loved ones in 14 counties in Western North Carolina. Four Seasons’ vision is: Innovate healthcare; influence humanity; impact life.
What We Do
Four Seasons provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support, and other helpful services through the following continuum of care:
- Care Navigation: Support, guidance, and advocacy for patients and family members in building an individualized system of care and making choices about and managing available care.
- Home Care: Development and implementation of individualized care plans; provision of home management, companionship, respite, transportation, and personal care services; coordination of communications with family members; and advocacy.
- Palliative Care: Holistic care providing patients relief from symptoms, pain, and stress related to a serious illness.
- Hospice Care: Specialized care provided at the end of life, including pain and symptom management and patient and family support and spiritual comfort.
- Grief Support: Ongoing support, education, and resources about the grieving process for family members and caregivers, including grief support groups, workshops, and individual counseling.
Additionally, the Four Seasons Research & Development Team engages in clinical research working toward healthcare advancements and improvements that benefit people both locally and nationally.
