Delivery info: Help us deliver meals to La Milpa & Verner Central in West Asheville! Verner Central (Thursdays): Arrive at Haw Creek Commons at 4:45pm to pick up meal and deliver to West Asheville. Volunteer Responsibilities: Process local farm products (vegetables and meat) chop fresh vegetables Prepare meals and portion into meal trays Wash dishes Related kitchen tasks as needed have fun with the awesome and talented team!Requirements: Orientation: To be completed at the beginning of your first shift Signed liability waiver: Can be completed on site before your first shift or online here.Minimum age: 16 years old to come alone; 12 with parent or adult chaperone. Skills Required: Ability to stand for long periods. We have chairs for breaks, but most of the work requires standing. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new things.
