This involves: unloading food; sorting, arranging, and storing food; setting up shopping stations and parking areas; and beginning client intake process. Indoor and outdoor tasks are available. We have been in operation since March 2013 and currently serve about 110 households (460 persons weekly.) Our community is "trilingual": English, Spanish, and Ukrainian. In the second shift of the day, volunteers will assist clients and other volunteers with the Free Community Market and Clean up. Tasks can include supervising the shopping station, restocking tables, assisting with gatekeeping, assisting with intake, assisting clients with groceries, and assisting with parking lot safety.
