OVERNIGHT COMMITMENT REQUIRED
Emergency Meal Prep Support at Hearts with Hands Shelter:
(850 Warren Wilson Road, Swannanoa, NC 28778)
Hearts with Hands is seeking a small group of dedicated volunteers to assist with meal preparation at our warehouse, which will be opening as a county shelter beginning at 9:00 AM on Saturday, 1/24/26.
Due to the predicted ice event and our desire to keep everyone safe and off the roads, we are not offering traditional volunteer shifts at this time. We are specifically looking for volunteers who are able and willing to remain on-site at the shelter to support meal preparation operations.
At this time, we do not yet know when meals will officially begin, but volunteers should be flexible and prepared to assist as needs arise.
Important Notes:

This opportunity requires an overnight stay from Saturday through at least Monday

Volunteers should be comfortable remaining on-site for the duration of their service
