Buncombe County is seeking volunteers to distribute water and MREs at the AC Reynolds Middle School distribution site. There is 1 shift from 11:00-5:00pm daily.
Our volunteer needs may fluctuate daily as community needs change, so please indicate your ability/willingness to move to another County-run Distribution Site upon arrival. Additionally, please indicate if you have any bilingual skills.
Age 14 and OLDER volunteers only please.
Volunteer Responsibilities & Requirements:
Ability to lift at least 25lbs
Comfortable with bending, stooping, walking and twisting
Adhere to safety measures
Ability to stand for long periods
Attire:
Wear CLOSED TOED SHOES!!!
Wear comfortable clothing
Location: AC Reynolds Middle School- 2 Rocket Drive, Asheville, NC 28803
