Description

Delivery Drivers Needed!

Help Equal Plates Project deliver meals to the community!

Equal Plates Project is a local non-profit connecting small WNC farms, Asheville chefs and our greater community to strengthen our local food system and to share delicious, scratch-made meals with those facing complex barriers to food access. Meals prepared in our Central UMC Kitchen contain at least 50% local ingredients, including veggies, fruit, eggs, grain and meat.  Our meals often support the programming of our community partners in contexts where people have the chance to gather, break bread and build community.

We are looking for drivers to help deliver the following meals:

1. Meal for Homeward Bound's Compass Point Villages Monday-Friday: Arrive at Central United Methodist Church at 11:00am

2.  Meals for Umoja's Hope For the Future afterschool program Monday-Friday: Arrive at Central Kitchen at 11:15am

3. Meals for Arrowhead
Every-other Tuesday: Arrive at Central Kitchen at 11:45am
