We serve meals and provide grocery items to our neighbors, sourced from rescued food. We promote economic justice and build community.
The Cafe is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, from 11 am to 1 pm. The cafe volunteer shifts are 10 am to 1:15 pm, sometimes a little longer. Volunteer Responsibilities:

sort and pack foods

prepare salads

clean and set up in preparation for opening
- clean and put things away at closing

taking orders and filling orders for meals and groceries
- wash dishes

welcoming people

Attend a volunteer orientation before you can sign up for a shift, held on Tuesdays, 10 am,

Skills Required:

able to follow directions and stay on task
- comfortable talking to strangers
- able to stand and walk around the cafe and garden for most of the shift

able to carry boxes and plates of food

Bending, twisting, stooping
- Feel okay with noisy, busy environments
- Organizational skills are a plus!
