We need volunteers to move supplies in and out of our resource hub in Swannanoa. Volunteers will be sorting, stocking, and organizing emergency supplies, food, water, etc and welcoming guests with compassion and care. We are an inclusive, multi-racial, multi-generational community of neighbors open to all.
Volunteer Responsibilities and Requirements
Lifting and moving supplies of various weights.
Driving is helpful but not necessary

Jasper Apartments - 234 Habibi Lane, Swannanoa 28778 Corner of Warren Wilson Road and US 70
Take I40 from Asheville to exit 55 because US 70 is closed at Exit 55.
Health and Safety:
Drinks and snacks provided
No bathroom facilities
We usually will not send volunteers to homes, but if we do they will have a buddy and a vest
