The Housing Authority of the City of Asheville's (HACA) mission is to preserve and expand affordable housing. We do this by providing housing at 12 properties in the City and access to vouchers that make renting and home ownership affordable.
Volunteers will prepare the set up for residents of HACA properties to collect a backpack and school supplies for the upcoming school year.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
Moving backpacks up to the auditorium
Organizing backpacks by age range
Supporting residents to gather their age appropriate backpack
Requirements: Personal transportation to on site Connection and communication with Site Lead Skills Required: Attire: Comfortable clothing allowing participants to move and organize items Location: Arthur R.
