America Cares is seeking volunteers at our Arden warehouse to sort and distribute supplies as families come in to the warehouse and as requests come in from hard hit mountain areas.
We are also seeking volunteers to help deliver requested aid when there are places and families that can not come pick up.
We operate 7 days a week from 9:30 am to 5pm. Volunteers do not need to commit to the entire time, even if you are only available for and a hour we can use the help.
Ages 16+ are able to volunteer.
Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:
Sorting and organizing supplies at the America Care's warehouse
Distributing supplies to families
Delivering supplies to families that cannot come into the warehouse
Help unload vehicles
Skills Needed:
Be able to lift 25lbs
Compassion and patience when dealing with filling families requests
Be able to stand for long periods of time
Be able to move, twist, and bend
