About the Organization: BMCA supports community through arts education and events. After Art in Bloom, volunteers help reset the gallery for regular programming.
Art in Bloom is the Black Mountain Center for the Arts’ annual fundraiser celebrating the intersection of art and nature. The event features floral interpretations of regional artwork, a garden tour with live painting, and supports arts programming and community outreach.
Volunteer Overview: Volunteers will assist with clearing floral installations and returning the gallery to its usual setup, while also thanking floral designers.
Volunteer Responsibilities:

Load out floral designer supplies

Break down pedestals and move artwork

Distribute thank-you notes

Clean and organize the space
Requirements:

Orientation before shift

Capable of carrying supplies upstairs

Personal transportation
Skills Required:

Comfortable standing and lifting

Friendly and reliable team member
