What you will do:
Each Tuesday, we haul food from MANNA FoodBank to Catholic Charities and unload it into our Food Pantry.
Additional details:
- Must use own vehicle (truck or trailer) to haul pallets/boxes
- Volunteers work roughly 9am - 11am
- Roles are active and involve repetitive lifting of boxes
- Work is completed in all weather: rain, heat, cold.
- Training and support is provided.

- Drop-Off Location: Catholic Charities - 50 Orange St. Asheville NC 28801
Your impact:
Without these food deliveries, we would not be able to run our Food Pantry.
By hauling and unloading the MANNA order, you support other members of our Food Pantry team while also helping alleviate hunger and financial burden for families in our community.
Volunteer Requirements:
To volunteer at Catholic Charities, onboarding is required. This includes a background check and a 1.5 hour training, creating in a volunteer account, and additional food-pantry related trainings.
Volunteers must be 18+ to volunteer alone.
(*volunteer roles are not suitable for Community Service requirements)
