Before you begin thinking about volunteering, ask yourself – Am I well enough to volunteer?
Tuesday, 3/19 (pre-event)
Volunteers will assist with the initial setup of the tables, chairs and centerpieces, and with food and beverage areas.
Wednesday, 3/20 (event)
There will be several food stations and three beverage stations located throughout the event. Volunteers will be running/maintaining these areas/stations and break them down at 2:30 pm. Volunteers will also assist with the breakdown of other stations at the conclusion of the event.
Volunteer Responsibilities (depending on the time of your shift):
- Loading and unloading supplies
- Setting tables and preparing other event area
- Setting up a registration area
- Running/maintaining food & beverage stations and a SWAG table throughout the event
- Food runner and event floater
- Breakdown of areas during the event and final event breakdown
Requirements:
- Brief orientation before the start of the shift
Skills Required:
- Ability to remain standing for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
Attire:
- Wear casual, black colors like black jeans, (T)shirt etc.
- Comfortable, close-toed shoes
Location (on both days):
- 340 Victoria Road, Asheville, NC 28801, A-B Tech Conference Center Lobby
Health and Safety:
- Bring your own mask, hand sanitizer/gel is available on site
