Are you looking to be a part of the YMCA's cause-driven work that is creating a more healthy, food secure community? If so, consider volunteering with our Mobile Markets! Volunteers will assist in serving our neighbors all around Western NC at our Mobile Markets, where we provide free fresh fruits and vegetables to the public, no questions asked.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage with neighbors
- Help with restocking produce
- Weigh bags and enter data
Requirements:
- Personal transportation
Skills Required:
- Positive and compassionate customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Attire:
- Comfortable, weather appropriate clothing and shoes
