The City of Asheville is seeking volunteers to assist with donations at Harrah's Cherokee Center.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
Assist with setup, breakdown, clean-up
Possible meal prepping
Requirements
Ability to lift at least 25lbs
Comfortable with bending, stooping, walking and twisting
Adhere to safety measures
Ability to stand for long periods
Attire:
Wear appropriate protective gear (gloves, masks, sturdy shoes)
Location: Harrah's Cherokee Center, 44 Hiawasse St (via roll-up door on Hiawassee)
Health and Safety:
Bring your own snack and drinks
Limited cell phone and WIFI access
