Blunt Kitchen in Swannanoa, NC, is part of Blunt Pretzels, a business that specializes in handcrafting authentic German-style pretzels. Blunt Pretzels became a disaster relief kitchen on day one after hurricane Helene. They focus on creating high-quality, organic, and locally sourced pretzels that are completely vegan, aligning with their mission to craft food that is simple, sustainable, and supports local agriculture. The kitchen embraces traditional German baking techniques, while emphasizing sustainability and community relationships.
Blunt Kitchen has been incorporated in December 2024 as a charitable organization to allow us to continue our meal programs beyond spring 2025.
What We Do
Blunt Kitchen serves as a place where the team produces and serves free community meals daily, all made with a focus on quality ingredients, environmental responsibility, and inclusivity. The business also aims to create a welcoming and safe environment for both staff and customers, fostering a positive community connection through their work. We love our volunteers.
