The Buncombe County LTRG is a coalition of local nonprofits, faith-based organizations, government agencies, and volunteers united to coordinate county-wide disaster recovery through intentional collaboration.
What We Do
Our efforts are guided by a commitment to community resilience, ensuring that assistance reaches those who need it most. The Buncombe County LTRG works to ensure that everyone has what they need in disaster recovery based on their unique circumstances. We recognize historic inequities as well as emerging vulnerabilities that result from disasters. We aim to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate resources to reduce disparities and support resilience among communities disproportionately impacted by disaster.
