Who We Are
Mission: To inspire a community of lifelong learners and leaders.
Charles C. Bell Elementary is a small community school in the Buncombe County Schools System in east Asheville. The school envisions a community where students acquire the knowledge and skills needed to be lifelong learners and problem solvers who are productive, successful, and responsible adults. Bell Elementary endeavors to provide the best education for each child, enhanced by partnerships between home, school, and the community.

Extracurricular activities include a variety of clubs and activities such as:
- Serve Our School (SOS), where fifth grade students have opportunities to take on leadership positions throughout the school.
- Osyssey of the Mind, where students create solutions to a variety of problems.
- Chorus, where fourth and fifth grade students prepare for performances at school events.
