ATHENA Community Build

Calendar Until Aug 30, 2026
Time Tuesdays 10am-7pm; Sundays 1-6pm

Description

Come build with us!

Safe Shelter has recently launched ATHENA - the Affordable Tiny Home Network of Asheville, a program that creates new opportunities for affordable and safe housing by combing education, workforce development, and community-based construction to produce affordable tiny homes for those who have experienced homelessness or other housing barriers. The program lowers construction costs through donated materials and volunteer labor while maintaining professional oversight and safety standards.
