The Irene Wortham Fall Festival returns on Saturday, October 17, 2026, and we're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help create a fun, welcoming experience for hundreds of families and community members.
Volunteers will assist with a variety of activities throughout the day, including:
- Monitoring bouncy houses to help keep children safe
- Serving popcorn and cotton candy
- Assisting with pumpkin decorating and activity stations
- Directing parking and greeting guests
- Helping with event setup, including tables, chairs, and decorations
- Assisting with event breakdown and cleanup
- Providing general support wherever needed throughout the festival
The Irene Wortham Fall Festival is a free community event featuring bouncy houses, food trucks, pumpkin decorating, face painting, cotton candy, popcorn, prizes, a live DJ, and much more. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with families, celebrate our community, and support Irene Wortham Center's mission of empowering children, adults, and families through inclusive programs and services.
