Clyde A. Erwin Middle School is a middle school in the Buncombe County School System serving grades 7 - 8 with a goal of serving the whole child, families, and the community while providing each student with excellent teaching every day. The primary mission of Erwin Middle School is to collaborate with stakeholders to provide a safe, caring, rigorous, and engaging learning environment that prepares all students to be high school, career, and college ready.
As a community school supported by United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County, Erwin Middle School partners with community organizations to provide students and families with resources, opportunities and supports for success. Community schools create strong ties among families, students, schools, and the community, while serving as academic and social centers to support innovative learning.
Erwin Middle School would like to recognize and show appreciation of our teachers and staff for their hard work and dedication by celebrating and providing these amazing teachers and staff members with special gifts. If you would like to show community support please sign up to create and/or buy a special gift for our teachers and staff. Our staff include teachers, administration, custodians, front office, cafeteria, etc.

Why does this matter? We have to limit the number of people attending each project. This helps everyone stay safe by following COVID-19 specific safety measures. Please understand that if you show up on-site without registering first, you may be turned away so that the agency can maintain safety procedures.
