Are you someone who enjoys organizing and sorting donations? If so, we are looking for a volunteer to ADOPT the Enka Intermediate Crisis Closet on a monthly basis. Volunteers will sort through donated food, personal care products, and school supplies, and organize them onto shelves and throughout the storage area.
The purpose of the closet is to meet basic needs of students and their families so students can remain focused on learning. Driven mostly by donations from the community, items such as food, toiletries, and school supplies are provided for students in crisis. Your support will provide students and families access to basic needs throughout the year. The hours are flexible, anytime M-F, 8-3.
Volunteers should wear comfortable, casual clothing, and closed-toed shoes. This project has limited wheelchair accessibility.
