Cattle Branch Cattle Co. is a family-run farm in the foothills of Western North Carolina. Our goal is for people to get hands-on farm experience in a safe and positive manner. We are passionate about becoming 100% handicap accessible and are working diligently on furthering the all-ability mindset. At this time they are supporting efforts to distribute hay to local farmers affected by Hurricane Helene.
On Tuesday, 10/29, we are looking for volunteers to help unload 600 bales of hay for our farmers in this area. Please sign up TODAY if you are available.
Requirements/Skills:
- Comfortable lifting up to 45 pounds
- Bending, stooping, twisting, lunging
- Comfortable standing and walking for 2 hours
- Ability to follow instructions
Attire:
- Please wear long sleeves, pants, and close toed shoes
- Please bring your own work gloves if you have them
