Wine to Water: Volunteers for Water Fill/Refill and Recycling Station

Expired

Description

Wine to Water provides clean water through water access, filtration, sanitation, and hygiene education, as well as disaster relief.

We need volunteers for our water fill/refill and recycling station. We have a tanker truck of non-potable water where the volunteers help to fill containers, cart water to cars, and help with flow of traffic. Volunteers may be asked to use a water pump and hoses to help fill large totes as well. We also have self-service potable water fill/refill station. Volunteers help explain the station and share information and additional resources. They also may help folks transport recyclables from cars to the recycling area.

Volunteers often have the opportunity to chat with people about their water needs and help them to feel connected after Helene.
