Join R2S, Christine W. Avery Learning Center, and area friends and families at the 3rd Annual Community Holiday Extravaganza! Bring the whole family for a day of holiday carnival games, prizes, music, performances, cotton candy, cocoa, and free lunch from Blessed Soul Food and Cooking With Comedy. PLUS, celebrated children’s book authors Jaha Avery and Veronica Chapman will join for share and sign free copies of their books and lead live readings. To top it off, there will be a BIPOC Holiday Market right next door for all your holiday shopping needs!
Volunteer Responsibilities:
Setup at the Arthur R. Edington Center (9:30 AM)
Staff a game/booth during the event (12 PM - 4 PM)
Help take down the carnival (4 PM - 5 PM)
Attire:
Comfortable, close-toed shoes
