About the Organization: The Black Mountain Center for the Arts (BMCA) is a nonprofit community arts organization dedicated to enriching lives through the arts by offering performances, exhibits, classes, and special events.
Volunteer Overview: As a Party Set-Up Assistant, you'll help transform the event space into a beautiful and welcoming environment for our Pre-View Party. Volunteers will support decorating, organizing, and preparing the venue for guests.
Volunteer Responsibilities:

Assemble and arrange furniture

Set up centerpieces and table decorations

Dress tables with linens and signage

Maintain organization and cleanliness

Assist with catering setup
Requirements:

Capable of carrying supplies up and down stairs

Completion of orientation (15min.) on-site before the shift

Personal transportation to the venue
Skills Required:

Ability to stay active and on your feet for two hours

Comfortable lifting and navigating stairs

Self-motivated and detail-oriented
Attire:

Comfortable clothes for movement

Close-toed shoes recommended

Clothes that can get messy
