Homeward Bound is a non-profit organization that serves individuals experiencing or at risk of experiencing homelessness in Buncombe County NC
The Welcome Home Donation center is looking for volunteers to help with a big clean up and re-organization day at their facility.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
Assist donation center staff and long term volunteers with cleaning and organizing the facility.
Requirements:
- Must have transportation to site
- Because this is a one time, one day opportunity volunteers do not need to undergo onboarding or a background check to participate
- Must fill out a volunteer application at our website: homewardboundwnc.org/volunteer
Skills Required:
● The desire to help out and serve our homeless and housing insecure neighbors!
Attire:
● Please wear close toed shoes and clothing you do not mind getting dirty.
Location:
● Include your organization’s name or the name of the building/complex and the complete address someone would need to put into GPS. This is where the volunteer shift will occur.
Health and Safety:
● No health and safety concerns to speak to
