United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County is excited to be the premier charity partner for iDaph Events Asheville Marathon & Half on Saturday, March 21st.
United Way is recruiting volunteers to cover three shifts on Race Day, each lasting three to four hours. Volunteers are managed by iDaph Events. Shift times range from 6am-12pm on Saturday, March 21st.
All race day volunteers have the opportunity to DOUBLE their impact! As the premier charity partner of Asheville Marathon & Half, for each volunteer we recruit who fulfills their shift, UWABC will receive $25 per volunteer hour from iDaph Events!
These dollars go directly to the Live United Fund to support the incredible work in UWABC's two impact areas: youth opportunity and community resiliency. Your volunteer hours will support our community schools, U4Y partners, and the long-term recovery efforts of communities bouncing back from Helene.
