Description
The American Red Cross is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Recruitment Team
Member to help connect individuals with meaningful volunteer opportunities.
In this role, you will support efforts to build a diverse, engaged, and
committed volunteer workforce that powers the American Red Cross mission and
strengthens our ability to serve communities in need.
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Assist with recruiting volunteers for a variety of Red Cross volunteer roles.
- Help plan, organize, and support volunteer recruitment and community outreach events.
- Build community partnerships and identify opportunities to engage prospective volunteers.
- Promote Red Cross volunteer opportunities throughout the community.
- Represent the American Red Cross at informational and recruitment events.
Requirements
- Be available to volunteer approximately 10 to 20 hours per month.
- Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to serving others.
- Attend required training and team meetings as needed.
Skills Needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while following guidance from supervisors and team leadership.
- Basic organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Enthusiasm for community outreach and volunteer engagement.
