Sponsor a Little Brother or Sister for the holidays! Youth in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program are ages 6-17 and live with single parents (one parent, grandparent, or other relatives). The large majority of Littles in the program are on free/ reduced lunch, and poverty is often one of the challenges the family faces. Covid has hit already struggling families especially hard. Volunteers are being asked to donate one or more gift cards (Target, Wal-mart, VISA). Instead of asking volunteers to shop, we have changed our process so that the parent/ guardian of the child can shop for the toys/ gifts themselves. This is a more respectful approach, and the parents get to enjoy the experience of shopping for their child.
