Eliada is in need of weekday volunteers to support the Therapeutic Animal Stewardship Cooperative (TASC) program. Volunteers can participate in general barn/stall cleaning and horse grooming/care activities. There is no specific time commitment required. Volunteers can come weekly or monthly, or just on an as-needed basis for special field trips or projects. Volunteers need not bring anything and are encouraged to wear clothing they don't mind getting dirty. Currently, the TASC family includes 11 horses, 2 pigs, 2 goats, 1 rooster and hen, 1 llama, 1 dog, and a family of barn cats. TASC is a therapeutic program with a strong emphasis on personal responsibility, character development, and connection with other living things. The TASC program is an ongoing source of incentive and motivation for the Eliada students.
