Volunteers will work to beautify our child care center by mulching, creek remediation, painting, etc.
We will have children on site that day as we provide full day care while students are out of school. Our task can be dirty so please come dressed prepared. In case of rain we may be painting so please dress accordingly.
NOTE: All volunteers for this project are invited and encouraged to attend the MLK Partnership for Change Kickoff event the morning of the 21st in Alumni Hall at UNC Asheville and pick up your t-shirt. Light breakfast will begin at 7:15am, followed by the kickoff and the program will conclude at 8:05am in time for you to get to your project sites.
**Please note that if you register after January 10th, 2019 we cannot guarantee you will receive a t-shirt.
