ABCCM Women's Steadfast House is transitional housing that gives hope, healing, health, and home to single women, mothers with children, and female veterans in need. We are currently seeking volunteers to support our Dinner Cook Teams. Cook Teams are a vital piece to the operation of the Steadfast House and not only prepare and serve meals, but also build community ties with our residents and staff.
Dinner Cook Teams are responsible for providing a nutritious evening meal and serving it to our residents. The dinner shift lasts about 2 hours from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Dinner cook teams are great for volunteers who would like to volunteer with others by forming a team (2 or more people). All cook teams are welcome to dine with our residents. Cook teams have the option of bringing the food prepared or using our on-site kitchen to prepare the evening meal.
