Volunteer at Race to the Taps Finale on 10/26 at Pisgah Brewing!
United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County is the benefiting agency!
Hands On Asheville-Buncombe is recruiting 25 volunteers to support Race to the Taps at Pisgah Brewing on Saturday 10/26/19. Race to the Taps is an event that combines craft beer enthusiasts and community support! You do not want to miss this event! Volunteer position descriptions are as follows:
- Packet Pick Up 9:00: 4-6 volunteers will run the iPads for packet pick up and hand out t-shrits to those who purchased.
- Parking Lot 9:00: 2-3 volunteers will be stationed in the parking areas to answer questions and send runners to the start line.
- Water Stop 10:00: 2-3 volunteers will prep water for the runners and clean up as the race wraps up.
- Course Monitors 10:15: 9-11 volunteers will monitor any intersection where there isn't a required police officer.
- Finish-line Water 11:00: 3-4 volunteers hand out water as runners cross the finish line.

Awards 11:45: 1-2 Volunteers to support the awards ceremony.
After the event, volunteers can enjoy the live music and a cold beverage!

** Volunteers should expect to be outdoors. Sunscreen, comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for event day weather is suggested. Volunteers with dietary restrictions or medical issues should carry their own snacks. Volunteer shifts may be up to 4 hours depending on your preference and availability.
