Montmorenci has been a part of the Hominy Valley Candler community since March of 1857. We are a part of the Blue Ridge District and the Hominy Valley Missional Network of the Western North Carolina Conference and the greater United Methodist Church. We are looking for volunteers to support our weekly Free Community Market!

Multiple Shift Dates and Times
Volunteer Roles Include:
- Assistance with directing traffic
- Picking/Gathering Pre-packaged food orders
- Delivering orders to vehicles
Requirements:
- Respond to each shift you are able to fulfill
- If you want to volunteer with friends or family, Respond as a Team
- Must be ages 18-64 to volunteer
- Positive customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm during times of crisis
- Close toed shoes
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Order deliverer may need to lift up to 35-40lbs.
- Bending, twisting, stooping
Health and Safety:
- Hand washing station available
- Clients do not get out of vehicles
- We are asking volunteers to wear/bring their own face covering
- Bandanna covering nose and mouth
- Cloth covering nose and mouth
- Fabric or disposable face mask
- Asking volunteers to maintain physical distance of 6 feet or more when possible
- Note: there are times when the volunteer task requires volunteers to engage closer than 6 feet. Please do not sign up if you feel uncomfortable.
