Seek Healing is a social health non-profit providing free support services to people suffering from addiction and loneliness. They seek to promote healing from trauma through community support and human connection.
Seek Healing is searching for compassionate individuals to participate in their Listening Line, a resource that fosters authentic, non judgemental connection with other human beings.
Time Commitment:
- Day/Hours are flexible
Participant Roles:
- The participant will take incoming calls from individuals who are healing from addiction.
- The participant will provide support by listening and holding space for the caller.
Requirements:
- Must attend a virtual orientation
- Have access to a smartphone with the ability to download apps
- Have excellent customer service
- Complete a Listening Training program
Training:
- The required Listening Training takes approximately 16 hours to complete
- Can be completed through an intensive weekend workshop or for 2 to 3 hours/week for 6 weeks
