Bounty & Soul is a community-based non-profit with a mission to connect people to food, education and each other.
The Dr. John Wilson Community Garden is practicing social distancing and increased sanitation measures for the safety of garden volunteers and the greater community by limiting the number of people per shift. Shifts are Wednesdays 6pm til dusk. To sign up please Respond to this opportunity and follow the instructions in the Hands On automatic notification.
Shifts/Time Commitment:
- Wednesday's 6pm unitl dusk
- Approximately 1 hour per week
Requirements:
- Respond to this opportunity for next step instructions
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions
- Comfortable bending, stooping, twisting
- Ability to stand for 1-2 hours at a time
- Agree to adhere to all safety measures implemented
- Complete the safety questions and Bounty and Soul Waiver
Health/Safety:
- Increased sanitation measures
- Limiting the number of volunteers in attendance
- We are asking volunteers to wear/bring their own face covering during participation
- Cloth covering nose and mouth
- Fabric or disposable face mask
- Asking volunteers to maintain physical distance of 6 feet or more
