As a community school supported by United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County, Erwin Middle School partners with community organizations to provide students and families with resources, opportunities, and support for success. Community schools create strong ties among families, students, schools, and the community.
Clyde A. Erwin Middle School Counselors, Staff and Social Workers nominate 50 students each year to receive money towards a day of holiday celebrating which includes shopping at Walmart. We need volunteers who can drive to Walmart in Weaverville on Friday, 12/13 at 9:00-11:30.
Volunteers will help support students as they shop for items at the Weaverville Walmart.
