UNETE is seeking volunteers to assist with our weekly food distribution on January 7 from 10am-4pm.
Volunteers will help sort bulk food items like rice and beans into smaller bags and fill grocery bags for distribution.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
sorting and bagging bulk foods
placing bulk and canned foods into bags
carrying bags to distribution point
assisting community members with bags
recording basic information from participants
Skills Required:
Ability to interact with the public
Can lift up to 25lbs.
Spanish language skills are a plus. We serve everyone but have many Spanish speaking clients.
