Part of Meher Archive Collective’s mission is to share Meher Baba’s message and teachings with the world. In today’s age, social media is the key to sharing information and connecting with people no matter the location. Meher Archive Collective is seeking social media literate volunteers to join our Social Media Team and aid in our efforts to spread the word about our non-profit and Meher Baba. Using apps like Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), TikTok, Snapchat, Threads, and YouTube, volunteers will collaborate on posts about Meher Archive Collective news, updates, upcoming events, potential volunteer opportunities, and fundraising campaigns, as well as educational and commemorative posts about Meher Baba. Ideally, the team would meet once a week to discuss upcoming plans and posts, as well as statistics and engagement. One of our main goals with this team will be using social media to reach younger and broader audiences via strategies like following trends and basing ideas off of the various platforms. This role offers a flexible schedule based on your desired hours.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Meet regularly with Social Media Team via zoom
- Collaborate on social media posts
- Create and post social media posts (with approval)
- Research social media trends
- Communicate with other Meher Archive Collective teams and individuals
Requirements:
- Knowledge of social media platforms
- Ability to create posts on social media platforms
- Submit a volunteer application
- Review and sign a Media Release form
- Review and sign a Confidentiality and Donor Privacy Agreement (for financial and archival donors)
- Review and sign Meher Archive Collective’s Culture and Code of Ethics document
- Review and sign Meher Archive Collective’s Grievance and Conflict Resolution policy
- Review and sign Meher Archive Collective's IT Policy
