Meher Archive Collective works to collect, preserve, and share items belonging to and related to Meher Baba. We are also working towards providing an event/meeting space for the local community, and becoming a global resource for information regarding Meher Baba and other spiritual topics.
We’re looking for volunteers to assist with event planning, organizing, and on-site support. Volunteer Responsibilities: Assist in organizing events Coordinate with the event organizer regarding any needs including: Tables Chairs Coffee/Tea Urns Communicate with the event organizer and answer any questions Assist with setup and cleanup Attend events to ensure rules of the space are being followed Requirements: The following are required prior to beginning volunteer work Complete an volunteer application Complete the necessary forms that will be sent to you after completing the volunteer application Have an interview/orientation meeting Skills Required: Positive and compassionate customer service skills Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to physically help setup and clean up during events Attire: Casual clothing Many items needed for events are downstairs, which is an active construction zone, so closed toed shoes are recommended Location: Events will be held at: 53 Red Oak School Road, Weaverville, NC 28787 Meetings to organize events will likely be over Zoom (remote) Health and Safety: Masks are optional, must bring your own if you need one as our supply is limited Hand sanitizer/gel is available on site To express interest in this volunteer opportunity, simply Click the blue "respond" button above to secure your spot and receive next-step instructions from our organization Please DO NOT SHOW UP IF YOU DID NOT RESPOND!
