Before you even begin thinking about volunteering, ask yourself – Am I well enough to volunteer?
As a community school supported by United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County, Erwin Middle School partners with community organizations to provide students and families with resources, opportunities, and support for success. Community schools create strong ties among families, students, schools, and the community.
We are looking for someone or a group of people who would like to come to Erwin Middle this summer and help teachers by decorating their classrooms and bulletin boards. There is also an opportunity to paint a room. Baseline supplies would be provided, donations welcome.
Volunteer Responsibilities
- Cutting paper and designs
- Decorating Bulletin Boards
- Covering windows
- Light cleaning
Requirements:
