The 16th Annual Irene Wortham Center Benefit Golf Tournament takes place on Friday, May 20th at Etowah Valley Golf Resort. The Irene Wortham Center serves children and adults with developmental disabilities. This year’s proceeds will help provide access to high quality education, therapy services and medical equipment for children at our Early Learning Center. We are looking for volunteer officials for the event. Your participation will help ensure a successful tournament, which in turn will ensure that these children have the tools they need to succeed in school. Officials monitor prize holes to watch for holes-in-one or other prize winners. Beverage and snack cart helpers are also needed. Shifts run 10-1, 11-1 and 2:00-5:00. Breakfast and lunch are provided. Snacks and water are available throughout the day.
What to Bring: Hats, sunscreen, and bug spray are highly recommended. Be prepared for all weather! Hole officials might want to bring a camp chair or blanket.
