Join us on January 15th, 2018, to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and participate in a day of service. Volunteers will help out at Asheville Middle School with a winter cleaning project from 9:30am-12:30pm. Volunteers will be inside deep cleaning the classrooms and sanitizing the spaces. Prepare to get down and dirty! This is a drop in event, feel free to come for an hour or all three!
We know that this time of year, the cold and flu can prevent many students from coming to school and attendance is a key indicator for a student's success. If a student misses 18 days (or 10% of school) and there is no intervention, their likelihood of high school graduation drops to just 25%. While absences can be due to a number of factors, let's help keep the school clean and stop the spread of germs and limit those missed days! Come on out and support our students!
Less germs = Healthy students!
